 Week of May 1st

How Far Along? 33 weeks

Due Date:
  June 19, 2021

Total weight gain/loss: I haven't been real good about getting on the scale. But I think +2-3

Maternity Clothes? sometimes yes, still rocking my yoga pants but those aren't as comfortable as before. and i've moved to tshirts with the warming weather.

Stretch Marks? Yup but no new ones as of yet.

Sleep? No not really at all and I feel like death so there is that.

Best Moment of this Week?  Again we haven't done a whole lot this week. We had a bridal shower for my cousin Jessi and that was a lot of fun to see family since we haven't been able to get together in such a long time. I guess I do have a best moment....and it would be getting to hug my grandma. I just adore my grandma, shes honestly one of my favorite people and her hugs are the best!

Movement? Oh yes, and its the best part of my day.

Food cravings? Nothing really.

Food aversions?
Nope, nothing really. My appetite is fine...hence the weight gain. boo

Gender? Still thinking boy

Labor Signs?  Still having daily contractions but nothing super painful.

Belly Button In or Out? Always in

What I miss? sleep!

What I am looking forward to: MY sister is due this upcoming week and I am so excited to see what this squish is! I'm hoping it will work out where I will get to come in for the delivery and be the nurse to deliver her!!!

Size of the Baby:

Baby's now the size of a honeydew!
Things are heating up inside as well: Baby may grow up to a full inch this week alone, and his brain is developing like crazy. Pretty soon, he'll be able to coordinate breathing with sucking and swallowing. Also, his bones are hardening, and he's started to keep his eyes open when he's awake.

How Far Along? 32 weeks

Due Date:  June 19, 2021

Total weight gain/loss: I think I'm about 3-4 this week actually....eek

Maternity Clothes? I mean kinda, I still primarily wear yoga pants and sweatshirts, but I did buy a new maternity tank top.

Stretch Marks? Yes but I don’t appear to have any new ones.

Sleep?  No not really. I don't really think thats a thing when you have 5 kids and are pregnant.

Best Moment of this Week?  Not a whole lot happened this week. Just normal day to day stuff with the kids. Which I enjoy so much. Trying to soak up as much time with them as I possibly can

Movement? Yes and I love it. But I would love it if this kiddo wasn't a party animal at night and stayed off my bladder a bit more as I try to sleep. But if thats what it needs to do to get earth side I guess I'll take it.

Food cravings? none really this week.

Food aversions? No thank goodness that seems to have subsided.

Gender? I'm still thinking boy

Labor Signs?  Contractions still happening daily but nothing painful or regular.

Belly Button In or Out? Always in.

What I miss? Just sleep in general.

What I am looking forward to: Stacie's due date is rapidly approaching so I'm excited to meet my new niece or nephew.

Size of the Baby:

Baby's now the size of a squash!
Ready or not, baby's getting ready to emerge. She's probably in the head-down position by now, with her bottom facing up. This is the comfiest way for her body to fit in your increasingly cramped womb and will make her eventual exit (only a few months away now!) much easier. (If she's still head-up, don't panic -- there's still time for a flip before birth.)

How Far Along? 31 weeks

Due Date:  June 19

Total weight gain/loss: +1

Maternity Clothes? yes, we've actually had some nice weather....FINALLY!!! so I've busted out the very few maternity clothes I do have.

Stretch Marks? Yup but I don't think there are any new ones.

Sleep?  Not  really. peeing throughout the night is an issue!!!!

Best Moment of this Week?  I love spring break!!! I love these kids, I love spending time not on a schedule with these kids. they are awesome, it can be so enjoyable!! We didn't go anywhere this spring break---fuck COVID!!! but we did do some fun things around the area. We spent one day planting flowers(not the brightest Idea I've had) Then I took them to the zoo, which was seriously SO FUN, hardly anyone was there and we had a really good time together. Then we went to Conner Prairie one day with my mama and sister. It was just fun to be together, make memories and get out of the house! I forgot how much I missed not being hermits. :)

Movement? Simply the best part of my day. I feel blessed with every movement.

Food cravings? none really this week.

Food aversions? nope, nausea has been good. I only occasionally get nauseated at work and I think thats more related to the fact that I'M SO DARN TIRED!!!

Gender? I'm still pretty certain it's a boy

Labor Signs?
 nope

Belly Button In or Out? Still in always IN

What I miss? sleep is still the #1 thing I miss!!

What I am looking forward to: Matt invited the girls over to celebrate Jenn's 35th this week and I'm excited to see my friends!!! I MISS THEM!!!

Size of the Baby:

Baby's now the size of a squash!
Baby's going through major brain and nerve development these days. His irises now react to light, and all five senses are in working order. (He won't pick up anything from his nose until after birth, though -- smell is transferred through air, not amniotic fluid.)

30 weeks with #6

 Week of April 10, 2021

How Far Along? 30 weeks

Due Date:  June 19

Total weight gain/loss: I think I'm still at break even or possibly +1
Maternity Clothes? yup and I love them.

Stretch Marks?  No new ones.

Sleep?  it's been a little better, the going to sleep has been a real challenge...I'm starting the whole get up every 5 minutes to pee crap!! GOSH I HATE THAT!!! why is it when I try to go to sleep every 20 minutes or so I feel like I have to get up to pee...I take so long to fully fall asleep that this can go on for an hour or more!! UGH Once I finally do fall asleep I seem to wake up at least 3x a night. Usually around 2 and 5 for sure and sometimes one more time.

Best Moment of this Week?  Nothing really special happened honestly, so just getting to 30 weeks was the highlight.

Movement? oh yes

Food cravings? nope

Food aversions? nope

Gender? I'm still thinking boy

Labor Signs?  Just my normal BH contractions.

Belly Button In or Out? Still in but I did have a dream that it popped out...

What I miss? not having to pee all the time, sleeping easily(well for me).

What I am looking forward to: MY KIDS ARE ON SPRING BREAK THIS WEEK!!! YEAHHHHHHHHHHH

Size of the Baby:

-->

Baby's now the size of a squash!
As baby's skin smoothes out, her brain just keeps getting more wrinkled. All those grooves and indentations increase surface area, meaning more room for that oh-so-essential brain tissue. She's also adding some brawn -- her grip is now strong enough to grasp a finger.

29 weeks with #6

** didn't get a picture this week**

Week of April 3, 2021

How Far Along? 29 weeks

Due Date:  June 19

Total weight gain/loss: I think I've officially broke even! ughhh

Maternity Clothes? I mean if I wore regular clothes, but that doesn't really happen. Also I was so big (that's a whole other post) pre getting pregnant and I liked my clothes baggy that when I do wear real clothes I still fit into them.

Stretch Marks? yup, who cares...

Sleep?  It's been a good week with sleep. I'm not *as* exhausted as before...lets see how long this lasts.

Best Moment of this Week?  Easter. I love Easter, I love what it stands for, I love my family and I just love celebrating JESUS!!!

Movement? yup...best moments of my day

Food cravings? nothing really

Food aversions? nope

Gender? I'm still think boy, but starting to wonder if it's possible its a girl

Labor Signs?  Still having daily contractions but some days are worse than others.

Belly Button In or Out? Always in

What I miss? not a whole lot.

What I am looking forward to: getting to 30 weeks!!! come on baby! Keep growing!!

Size of the Baby:

Baby's now the size of a squash!
Baby's energy is surging, thanks to white fat depositing beneath his skin. And since he's growing so fast (weight will triple by birth), things are getting kind of cramped in the womb. What all this means for you: Get ready for some more kicks and jabs to the ribs.
