39 weeks with #5

Week of September 5, 2017

How Far Along? 39 weeks

Due Date:  September 12, 2017

Total weight gain/loss: I still think about 18-22 Gotta kept this under control, Im gaining a pound a week! I hope I don’t make it to 40 weeks

Maternity Clothes? Of course and I love them.

Stretch Marks? Well of course but they are lighter this time and no new ones.

Sleep?  Yeah No. I’m grateful Adam has been sleeping with the boys so that I can get a few extra sleeps. There has actually been a night or two where I felt rested. I think part of my problem is I’m having a hard time recovering from working. I feel bad bc my poor kids have been such troopers with me wanting to sleep and them wanting to go outside. God love those sweet boys!!

Best Moment of this Week?  Going to the Purdue v. Louisville football game. Purdue football has always been a huge part of my life, but due to small children and working weekends I haven’t been to many in the last few years. My cousins have too had a lot going on in their lives the last few years so we picked a game and pretty much the whole fam got together. I had a really great time with my cousins, aunts, and uncles and of course the glue of the whole family my grandma. I actually got to sit with her during the game and Had a really great time with her. I just adore her and really cherish our time together.

Movement? Yes, I’m loving every second of it.

Food cravings? none

Food aversions? Nope, just my normal nausea. But I did have a few days of feeling ok and less nausea.

Gender? I’m really getting anxious to meet this one. I’m so excited and to see if I’m right or not.

Labor Signs?  Yes, these darn things need to actually do something! COME ON!! But I will miss my little shelf during my contractions.

Belly Button In or Out? All in

What I miss? sleep and a pain free pelvis

What I am looking forward to: MEETING THIS BABY!!!

Size of the Baby:

Baby's now the size of a watermelon!
Baby's brain is still developing rapidly, and his skin has taken on a paler shade thanks to a thicker layer of fat around the blood vessels. (Don't worry; he'll change color again soon after birth.) He's now able to flex his limbs, and his nails might extend past his fingertips..
