Levi is TEN months old

Seriously cue the depression. My baby boy is 10 months old. I just want to cry. How did we get here so fast? 10 months just seems so old to me. I mean he is developing new skills every day. Gone are our days of just eating, snuggling and napping together and it makes me so sad to know I'll never be there again. 

But as with every other month Levi has just been such a dream! Each month with him gets sweeter and sweeter and this month was no different. He seems to get bigger every day and in a way mature with the new things he learns. 

We had such a fun month with our first family vacation. Family vacations are always a good time but with Levi being such a good natured baby it made it even more fun and it didn't feel like we were being held back by having a baby around. He would nap wherever and only once or twice did Adam or I have to stay back so he could rest. --now the sickness that was that vacation was a whole other story. 

Here are a few of his milestones this month

• We are officially crawling EVERYWHERE. No more army crawl for this little man. We are full fledged crawling.
• He doesn't love crawling on concrete. He does this really cute get up on all 4s and then rotates to where his hands were and sits, then sort of moves that way. 
• At home on the carpet or our "hardwood" he crawls everywhere with no issues
• He has 4 teeth now he has gotten his top two too
• He is still breastfeeding really well typically 5-6 times a day
• He did bite the crap out of me and caused me to bleed and even sliced one of my nipples so that wasn't super fun. He has always been more a "biter" when he was done nursing but now that he has teeth it HURTS! so we are working on how to be done with nursing without biting down
• When I tell him "Ouch" he gets really sad and upset and starts crying and I have to really work at soothing him. I think it hurts his feelings. It's actually quite sweet and cute. 
• We are doing better at offering him more and more table foods and vacation was really nice bc Stace is really good at that and he would try almost everything Nolan did. His favorites were black beans and some Mahi Mahi. 
• He still babbles a lot and has the cutest little voice ever. 
• I think he might have actually said dad first. 😩
• He is becoming a thumb sucker!! UGHHHH
• He has done it a few times in the past but I just thought it was maybe a fluke thing but nope this month I have caught him doing it several times....ughhhh....though it is pretty freaking cute!
• He doesn't and hasn't for quite a while liked the pacifier. he will not take it from me but will take the paci from my mom. Lets face it, if its me he wants the boob. But mom can get him to take the paci for a nap. 
• but the kid can have 3 paci's in his crib and will use his thumb. WTF! 
• I honestly don't really care I just think about when it comes to trying to get rid of them, its easier to get rid of a paci than a thumb. But we will see. Hopefully it will be short lived. 
• This kid continues to have the cutest darn smile there ever was, All you have to do is say his name and he will give you this big grin that just MELTS YOU!
• He is still an amazing sleeper falling right in line with Landon. He sleeps 12 ish hours at night typically going down around 8:30. I do wake him up at 6:30 with the big kids and feed him and then he goes back to sleep until I wake him around 8:30 to take Lynlie to school or closer to 9 am. 
• He still takes 2 naps a day
• one in the morning thats about an hour 
• one in the afternoon that if possible is closer to 2 hours. Sometimes that nap is restricted to his carseat due to carpools but I try my best to give him an every other day gets a good nap in
• He enjoys playing quietly by himself. He is so quiet in fact that you often forget he is there. 
• He is inquisitive to what things are and what they do, he is always watching and observing whats going on--actually reminds me a lot of Lincoln. 
• He loves to be loved. There is nothing that gets him more excited than hearing his name by one of us. He just smiles the biggest smile ever and I don't know how to really describe it but you can tell he just loves how much his siblings (and Adam and I of course) love him. It just makes him so happy to be around his siblings and family. 

Levi really is just such a good baby. He is just an absolute joy and I can't imagine a better kiddo!

Levi just seriously is the absolute best. I can not get enough of his sweetness. His personality is just absolutely divine. He is so yummy I could just kiss his sweet cheeks all day! He is so laid back and we just love him so much. He is a true blessing to this family that we could not be more grateful for!!! Time slow down so we can enjoy this sweet boy!!!
